The thing is, with the more information readily available, people aren’t using it. Like the internet. They are too lazy to look up anything. Also because they don’t read and people are getting dumber by the minute. As a Millennial I can’t relate. When I grew up we didn’t have all this free information as we do today at our fingertips. You either had to read a book or go to the local library. Or ask tour parents if they even were knowledgeable at all. Today, skills like this aka common sense is sadly a rarity. And for some reason, 2 years or so with a pandemic made people loose all logic, manners and common sense🤡

Axolotl‘s are so cute

I have a red eared slider who's 13 years old, but I'm struggling to find a good filter for his upgrade to a 110 gallon tub. I don't know why I didn't think of using multiple filters until you said it... I already have a pretty beefy one that I'm happy with, so I think I'm just going to get a second one. Don't know why I thought I needed to have just 1 filter rated for 200+ gallons.

I’m getting back into turtles again found a hatchling res and have set up my old 120gallon tank for him and needed a refresher and this was helpful! But I do need to say when I had turtles before I had 16 in this tank at once! 9 juvenile res 2 adult res 1 Mississippi map 2 musk and 2 painted turtles and they all were great friends and never showed any aggression I guess it’s just in who your turtles are!

Is there any that can survive on there own without me needing to feed them so watch and clean the tank. I was thinking like a shrimp but idk. Please help and thx im subbed

I have all of these but not for a turtle I have it for a fish and they all seem alive but some of them are jumping at the time and I have no idea why the tank is so big like it’s better than yours behind you

Thanks for sharing this. I went through a really tough pet loss last year, and it wasn't my own dog but a family dog. It was my cousin's mixed terrier Peanut who I was really close to and knew her since she was a puppy. Her passing was her escaping my cousin's backyard & unfortunately a crazy driver in my area hit her. A few months after that, my cousin's family lost a cat Anakin due to health & he lived to 3 years. They had to give another cat away Bobbi because she was not in good condition and they didn’t put effort to care of her. The start of this year after coming back home from a fun event, my cousin's other dog Terrian pass away. He unfortunately got ran over just like his mom Peanut. Thanks to God I have gotten over the grieving stage with them all & overcome it over a year not but it is still strange at times to not see them all. Peanut was the hardest because it was before a special celebratiom & her passing didn't bring happy memories since it was how my first dog passed away. Seeing it in person the after effects really shaked me because it's a big fear I have & I grew attached to her. I still have her pictures & videos saved & it was touching to see that even my cousin's family saw how special our bond was. I haven't had & felt a pet & owner bond that strong since I was a child. Big hugs. I'm very attached to family pets & in general so dealing with it as an adult was different & had its own. I was learning to grieve with God through these difficulties along with a family member who passed away last year too. A lot of crying but God really became my strength & still is who I go to let all my pain & tears out.

Great Video! Really good information! I just setup a “new” 75 gallon aquarium with 2 yellow belly sliders (turtles are about 1 year old). Overall, tank looks great and water is getting less cloudy but still a little cloudy. Any idea how long it’ll take a new tank to get adjusted (beneficial bacterial etc.)? Also, I am using an Fluval FX6 filter.

I've caught so many frogs which is 10-12 that I'm feeding my three pet baby slider turtles with ,and they love eating frogs plus i give the slider turtles some pellets and dried shrimp as well The kind of frogs are edible that I caught are American green tree frogs that were on my windows outside in the night in Alabama so, I'm going to try some fish such as goldfish and guppies and lizards such as anoles and house geckos that I'm going to feed the slider turtles with if I ordered it online when I have more money i can also feed live earthworms,waxworms, calciuworms,mealworms to slider turtles as well if I ordered it online.

Does those sludge destroyer and water conditioner really work? And also, is it better to use tap water or drinkable water? I have 2 one year turtles and I feed them twice a day but when they see me if I give them food they take it, should I change it to once a day?

I had the the same two turtles for more than 5 years! And there good together the only thing I see between the two. Is the big one wants to eat all the but other that they get alone

My turtle kept opening and closing his mouth on the surface of the water to make bubbles and I found it very cute but these few days he keeps doing the same (opening and closing his mouth fast and too much) when his head is completely out of water.
